General Information

The Admissions Process

The prospective student will schedule a personal interview with the school director. At that time, admission requirements, program offerings, class schedules and special needs will be discussed and a tour of the campus will be conducted. Questions regarding financial aid eligibility will be answered by the Financial Aid Officer. Upon agreement by the prospective student and the school director, the individual will complete admission papers and sign an enrollment agreement which pre-registers him/her for the designated semester start date. The candidate will be officially notified of the scheduled time for orientation.

Financial Aid

If financial assistance is needed, the School is an eligible institution for Federal Family Education Loan Programs, and Pell Grants. Please contact the Financial Aid Office at the school to determine eligibility.

Placement Assistance

The School employs an on-campus placement coordinator who maintains continuous contact with area employers to assist the American School of Business graduates with job search and placement activities. The school cannot guarantee job placement of its graduates. For placement assistance please email Amy Juneau.

  • Licensed by the Louisiana Board of Regents.
  • Accredited as a business school by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools, Washington, D.C.
  • Approved as a Proprietary Institution of Higher Education (Section 481 (b), Higher Education Act) regulated by the United States Department of Education, Office of Postsecondary Education, Office of Student Financial Assistance.
  • State Approved for Veterans Training.
  • State Approved for Vocational Rehabilitation Training.
  • Approved for W.I.A. (Workforce Investment Act) Training.
  • Approved for T.A.A. (Training Adjustment Act) Training.
